The Four Pillars
Our College offers a vibrant and highly successful extracurricular program designed to enrich the Spiritual, Academic, Cultural and Sporting development of students. These are known as the Four Pillars.
We strongly encourage students to stay actively involved and fully engaged in College life.
Participation in these activities allows students to earn House points, connect with a diverse group of peers, develop new skills and knowledge, and explore a wide range of interests.
Our commitment to excellence across the Four Pillars has earned the College a strong reputation within the community, making enrolment a highly sought-after choice for Catholic families. Student involvement in these activities contributes toward the prestigious Pillar Awards. Once a student accumulates 100 points in a particular Pillar during their time at the College, they are recognised with a Pillar Badge, presented at a Whole School Assembly.
Spiritual Pillar
We provide a Christ-centred education with a strong emphasis on social justice and inclusion. Students can participate in immersion opportunities in the Kimberley region and Vietnam, as well as a variety of pastoral care initiatives. Support services include access to chaplains and psychologists, and our wellbeing dog, Ellie, plays a key role in fostering a caring environment.
Academic Pillar
Outside of the classroom, there are many opportunities for students get involved in academic competitions and activities, including World Scholar's Cup, Tournament of Minds and RoboCup. Students can also embark on international tours for STEM, HASS and Languages (French and Japanese).
Cultural Pillar
Students can explore their creative passions through Musical Theatre classes, music programs (bands, ensembles, choirs, tutoring), dance groups, media classes and drama productions. We host biennial whole-school productions and offer opportunities such as the London Arts Tour and involvement in Tech Crew and AV teams.
Sport Pillar
Our sporting program is one of the strongest in WA, with outstanding performances in interschool athletics, cross country and swimming. Students can compete in soccer, AFL, AFLW, indoor and outdoor cricket, badminton, volleyball, netball, basketball and ultimate frisbee. Unique offerings include surfing, bodyboarding and an Outdoor Education program, as well as access to a fully equipped fitness gym.
