Parents & Friends Association Levy
The Parents & Friends Association has an active role in fundraising for school amenities and teaching equipment.
A levy of $90.00 per family is added to the school account. Eligible Concession Cardholders will be exempt from this charge.
Building Levy
In 2009, the College Board (now known as Parent Advisory Council) introduced a compulsory Building Levy per family. The levy will contribute to the debt servicing of the College’s existing and future building loans.
This levy is not tax-deductible and for 2025 is $904. The maximum Building Levy payable for eligible Concession Card holders is $300.
Building Fund
The Building Fund is a voluntary donation which can be claimed as a tax deduction and is additional to the Building Levy.
If you wish to make a voluntary donation of any amount, please contact (08) 9246 8208 or fees@sacredheart.wa.edu.au.
Expression of Interest for Enrolment
The completion and return of an Expression of Interest, together with the fee, registers your interest in having your child considered for enrolment at Sacred Heart College. The Expression of Interest fee ($90 per child, including GST) is payable once only and is not refundable.
Enrolment Fee
An enrolment fee of $855 is required for families being offered enrolment. A portion will be credited to your first fee account. This enrolment fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Withdrawal of Student/s
A full term’s notice in writing must be given to the Principal before the withdrawal of a student. Failure to give such notice will involve the payment of a term's tuition fee in lieu of notice, irrespective of the date the student may leave during the Semester. If there is sufficient notice, fee accounts will be adjusted accordingly.
There is no refund of the Building Levy, Resources Levy or P&F Levy.
Insurance
The Parent Advisory Council has arranged a SchoolCare Personal Accident Policy to cover students for accidental injuries occurring during school activities only. Please note: general insurance companies are prohibited by law from covering the cost of any medical service for which a Medicare benefit is payable (including any gap).
The College cannot accept responsibility for loss of or damage to personal effects and property, or liability incurred by students for property damage.
Financial Support
Any parent in genuine financial hardship should contact our Accounts Receivable Officer, Mrs Amy Lynch on (08) 9246 8208 or fees@sacredheart.wa.edu.au
Parents/caregivers in this situation will be asked to complete an ‘Income Assessment Proforma’ to assist in deciding in each circumstance. The College Principal is involved in these deliberations.
Split Billing
The responsibility for payment of fee accounts is joint and several. Families who wish to split their account equally between two parties must provide written advice to the College, signed by both parties, authorising the account to be divided equally. The College will consider the matter on a case-by-case basis.
Fees Not Paid
The College Accounts Administrator will contact parents/caregivers who have not paid fees or have not actioned or notified their intended fee payment option by email, phone or mail.
If there is no response or action to these communications, then the College reserves the right to take legal action for the recovery of fees not paid. Any expenses, cost or disbursements incurred by the College in recovering any outstanding monies, including debt collection agency fees and solicitor costs, shall be charged to the account.
